The Trump administration plans to lift its record-low refugee admissions figure from 7,500 to 17,500, with the additional openings reserved for White South Africans, as the administration blocks the entry of refugees from other countries. Of 6,000 refugees resettled to the US between October & April—all but three were from South Africa.
