The world is once again witnessing genocide in Darfur, Sudan. The United States can and must act to stop it. In late October, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) seized control of El Fasher, a city in northern Darfur, after besieging it for over 500 days and using starvation as a weapon of war.
Now, as the RSF controls El Fasher, it is perpetrating mass violence against civilians. Analysis of satellite imagery by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab confirmed credible reports of attacks on civilian escape routes, mass killings, and executions—with blood-stained earth visible from space.
Urge your members of Congress to speak out against the genocide in Sudan.
The United States has a moral duty to protect civilians facing genocide. Join me in urging Congress to speak out. Demand concrete action to end the atrocities in El Fasher and throughout Sudan!
