🎏 Korea Peace Rally in Washington, D.C., October 8, 2023

The Korea Peace Appeal campaign, a South Korean civil society led movement for an end to the Korean war, has planned a rally to call for peace in Korea outside of the White House in Washington, D.C. on October 8th, 2023.

Our friends in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia area), please join together with these South Korean peace activists to call for an end to the United States’ longest war.

The Korea Peace Appeal campaign calls on all governments involved in the unended Korean War to stop militarization, weaponization, and war drills to focus efforts instead on preventing further armed conflict. We call for deescalation and a definitive peace agreement to end the state of hostility between our nations.

As American citizens, we can stand with Korean citizens who are begging the United States (as well as South Korea, North Korea, China, and the United Nations) to end this war. Hear their appeal to us, Americans:

“…[We] urge everyone to raise an awareness of the gravity of the growing threat of war on the Korean Peninsula under the recent political situation and we will call for proactive efforts to create an environment for dialogue and prevent armed conflict.”

Will you stand with them?

October 8th, 3 pm
Lafayette Square
Washington, D.C.
