Nonviolence seems like a very abstract concept to many of us, but it’s been the impetus behind transformative social movements around the world. How can we better understand and practice nonviolence?

The Metta Center for Nonviolence took that question and incorporated nonviolence principles and strategies into a collaborative strategy game called “Cosmic Peaceforce.”

This game is being crowdsold on TheGameCrafter.com until October 2nd, the International Day of Nonviolence. A crowdsale means that the more copies of the game are sold, the greater everyone’s discount on the game. I’ve already purchased my copy (can’t wait to break it out on some future game nights!), and I’ll be watching closely to see if I can afford buying some for gifts as the price comes down.
