For the first time, Pace e Bene is offering the Engaging Nonviolence Certification Program — a six-month, three-level journey in living and practicing nonviolence.

For years, Pace e Bene has offered Engaging Nonviolence trainings that support people in living, communicating, and organizing with courage, compassion, and clarity. Now, for the first time, these core trainings have been brought together into one integrated Certification Program — designed to support nonviolence as a lived, daily practice in ourselves, our relationships, and our communities.

This live, online program runs from February through August 2026, with weekly sessions and is offered in three progressive parts:

Part 1: Mondays, February 16 – March 23
Part 2: Tuesdays, April 21 – May 26
Part 3: Tuesdays, July 7 – August 11

All sessions take place from 4:00–5:30 pm Eastern.

Participants who complete all three levels will receive the Engaging Nonviolence Certification from Pace e Bene, recognizing a deep and practical grounding in nonviolent principles, conflict transformation, and nonviolent action. Graduates can include this certification on their resume, professional bio, or organizational profile.

Whether you are an educator, organizer, faith leader, or simply someone drawn to nonviolence as a way of life, we invite you to join this first-ever cohort and be part of a growing global community committed to building a more just and compassionate world.

MORE FROM PACE E BENE

Commitment to Nonviolent Resistance

Those standing for social justice or resisting actions by the current administration may become targets of surveillance or crackdowns. One way to be prepared is a steadfast, vocal commitment to nonviolence.

On the Killing of Charlie Kirk

The trap of violence & the suffering it creates was on full display last week. We can escape this trap through the power of active nonviolence, which resists the temptation to add more violence & searches relentlessly for just, lasting solutions to break the cycle beyond retaliation & escalation.
