We had our first snow in Korea last week, and the ski slopes have officially opened for the season.
In our December Korea Peace Study Group session, June and Eunsun will give the second part of their presentation on Dangerous Women: Gender & Korean Nationalism, a book edited by Elaine H. Kim and Chungmoo Choi. (If you missed the first part of their presentation, you can watch a recording here.)
This weekend, June and Eunsun will lead us in discussing themes including the role of women, double patriarchy, women’s movement, and Korean women vs. the US forces.

In October 2025’s Korea Peace Study Group, Munjo Yu, Eunsung Hwang, Johnny Atlas, and Junghi Lee reported back from their time in New York City in July at the People’s Summit for Korea.
In September’s Korea Peace Study Group, Dae-Han Song from the International Strategy Center shared about APEC-very timely as South Korea is hosting the APEC Forum and Leader’s Summit in October.
