Thanks to all who gave to help refugees in July through the work of Trauma Rescue Aid (TRAID)!
I transferred the funds we raised last month ($607.89 USD) to TRAID’s bank account in Uganda. The donations will help sustain their work in August. We are so grateful to all who have joined our community of care.
The TRAID team continues supporting Sudanese refugee families through food and medical assistance. They also provide trauma counseling services and English lessons to ease the adjustment to life in Uganda.
If any of the rest of you are curious what this is about – or if you or anyone you know is able to provide a one-time donation or a small, monthly donation – please read and share our fundraiser:

I will be in touch again soon with an in-depth update with photos, a report on how the funds we sent last month were used, sharing what the team in Uganda is planning next, and suggesting ways you can continue to uplift our Sudanese brothers and sisters in Uganda.
And, please, if you want to help us promote the work of TRAID, you don’t need anyone’s permission. We request your participation in our community of care. However, if you want to be tagged on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, WordPress) when we post, so you can easily share or collaborate, please reach out to me directly with your information.
With much gratitude,
Jennie, on behalf of Trauma Rescue Aid
