Cross-posting this conversation with Kazu Haga and Peace Catalyst staff member Liz Digitale Anderson (source):
In a world where division and violence appear stronger than ever, how do we break the cycles of hate and work for healing for ourselves and our community? How might we embody both courage and love, taking action for change without recreating the harm we’re resisting?
Watch our conversation with Kazu Haga, a nonviolence and restorative justice practitioner and trainer, and author of the book Fierce Vulnerability, as we explore the ways in which our personal and collective healing are woven together. Through the intersections between Christian peace spirituality and Buddhist practice, lessons from the fields of nonviolent organizing and trauma healing, and a shared hope and longing for the Beloved Community, we hope that this conversation will encourage and inspire you as you seek to live out the divine peace wherever you are.

We’re so thankful for each of you, and feel free to reach out if you’d like to talk more or connect with us. You can also reach out to a Peace Catalyst peacebuilder in your area if you’d like to connect with someone closest to you.
This event was also part of our monthly Taste of Peace series, where we offer introductory-level conversations about all things peacebuilding and explore something new every month, so keep an eye out for June’s event, coming soon to our Events page!
We’re able to offer all of these events for free because of the donations of our supporters. If you’d like to keep events like these going and help us equip and mobilize more Christian peacebuilders in our world, you can Donate to the work of Peace Catalyst here.
