Next Saturday, May 24th, is the International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament and marks the 10th anniversary of the peace pilgrimage made by 30 international, woman, peace activists from North to South Korea.
Their journey across the DMZ raised eyebrows around the world and caused people to wake up and take notice of the continued plight of divided Korean families and the unended war on the Korean Peninsula.
In commemoration of this anniversary, the Korea Peace Now Grassroots Network will host an online documentary screening about their historic journey. Please register for this free online viewing of the film Crossings.
