Financial Support for Youth Serving their Communities, Apply by February 10th

Cross-posting the following announcement of the 2025 Changemaker Youth Grants from Pace e Bene (source).

These are unprecedented times. All of us are feeling the impacts . . . and especially the youth.

Young people know that their futures (near and distant) are in peril. They’re experiencing sky-high anxiety levels and depression. The identities of themselves and their friends are under assault. Climate denialism is threatening their lives.

They’re also deeply creative and desperately want to make their voices heard.

How can we support them in doing that? With intergenerational solidarity.

That’s what the Changemaker Youth Grants are all about.

Want $200 to make posters for a student walkout? We can do that.
Want $300 to send care packages to LGBTQ+ teens in the area? We can help with that.
Want $500 to host a DEI day at your teen center? We have that support.
Want $700 to put on a climate art show? We can offer that.
Want $1000 to start a nonviolent community protection team at school? We’ve got resources to assist with that.

February 10th is the deadline for youth ages 12-23 to submit the simple application for a Changemaker Youth Grant. They can receive up to $1000 dollars for a “creative solution that addresses violence.”

From autistic sensory rooms to motorbike protests to school-wide multicultural weeks, the Changemaker Youth Grants have been extraordinary and impactful year after year. Other projects include a theater show about school shootings, cross-border art exchanges, interfaith peace festival, racial justice podcast, cyberbullying workshops, music concerts for disability inclusion, mental wellness room, a walk-a-thon for diversity, and more.

We are always impressed by the applicants’ ideas . . . and we always wish we had more money to give to more youth. You can help with that.

Donate today to support more youth changemakers.

Do you remember the first time someone believed in you? Maybe someone supported you with college or your first job or encouraged your art-making or your voice in protest. Whatever it was, whoever it was, they gave you a gift that changed your life.

It’s your turn to pass it on.

With gratitude,
Rivera and the Pace e Bene Team
