This morning, I commented to a friend about a dog we know, “He’s such a good dog. He’s always so happy.”
She responded, “He has a good master.”
That simple comment caught in my spirit because I, too, have a good Master.
(I know I’m not a dog, but a personality test once typed me as a golden retriever. 🙂 )
If we trust that our Master is good, we will have joy in every situation. We have no need to be afraid. Our Master doesn’t forget us, so we can serve Him joyfully in whatever situation in life, trusting He knows best. We have the BEST MASTER, and that’s the only reason we need to be happy.
