I realized recently how infrequently I’ve blogged since moving to Thailand… 7 months ago already?
I should do something about that.
Another thing I did very infrequently until recently was read. Ok. I’ve been rereading the Book by my favorite Author, but as for my massive reading list… I feel like I’ve made very little progress on it until last month. 🙂 The kindle that Mom and Dad bought me for Christmas last year has been so great, and a friend sent me a gift to invest in books. 🙂 Thank you, friend!
So, here’s are a couple of books I’ve read recently, with a brief synopsis:
Invitation to the Supernatural Life, by Michele Perry
Basically, Michele believes you were created for more than the day in and day out life. She thinks that your life has eternal significance, and that the Creator of the universe takes special interest in you. Are you interested in exploring a relationship with the Creator? Check out her book! It’s full of stories documenting her own search for and encounters with God, in ways that may shock and surprise you – and might open your own life to the possibilities of supernatural living.
One Thousand Gifts: A dare to live fully right where you are, by Ann Voskamp
This lady believes in gratitude. She thinks it will transform your life. And she can tell you all kinds of reasons and stories why. It’s related to her faith and her own experience… and this book is an invitation into gratitude and a life of joy.
Both of the books above come recommended, if you’re book hunting. 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
