I was praying for a friend of mine this afternoon, when the Lord started speaking to me. I think He was sharing something with me that spoke specifically to something in this friend's life, but I also think it may speak to others. So, I'll share it here:

There was a Kingdom seed that the Lord planted in your heart a while back. You were really excited about the seed, because you knew it was from God and you could envision what it would grow into. In your zeal, anticipation, and excitement for the mature tree, you forgot that the seed first had to die before it would grow, and you may have fought the death of this seed.

The Lord intended for that seed to lay dormant in the ground during a season, a season of winter. You may have been disillusioned and disappointed when the seed died, and the enemy tried to exploit your disappointment – convincing you that the seed would not bear fruit. It was like a cloud rolled in over your soul.

I feel the Lord is saying now that the appointed season of winter has passed, but the seed still lies dormant in the ground of your heart because of the cloud that the enemy has used to shield the seed. It is time for this cloud to be removed.

As you purpose in your soul to gaze upon the sun (worship the Lord over this seed that you thought had died), His light will break through the cloud over that area of your soul. His light will warm the ground surrounding this kingdom seed in your heart – awakening the seed from its sleep – and it WILL bear much fruit.
