I love mangoes too! Are they supposed to be more green vs. yellowish? I never know what to look for when picking them at the supermarket, and am always so disappointed when one is over-ripe and not sweet.

Katie-Well, technically they are ripe when they are yellow, but I love them when they are green and still a bit sour. :)So, my personal advice is err on the side of “not quite ripe,” but I’ve never bought mangoes at a supermarket… mostly I pick them up under trees…Looking forward to seeing you and your mom in a few weeks!
