Last night, I went to bed early. My body was telling me it was exhausted and feeling ill. I slept for a while before waking up with intense stomach pain, diarrhea, and nausea.

“Great,” I thought. “Middle of the night latrine runs are my favorite!”

Anyway, after finally getting back to my bed, my body was feeling so weak and miserable that I didn’t have much extra strength to fight the sickness… You know, rebuke it constantly, stand firm and not give it an inch in Jesus’ name… So, feeling weak as I was, I said, “God, I really don’t have the strength to fight this right now. I’m really weak.”

He whispered back, “You’re covered. There is someone in the States fighting for you right now.”

I felt so comforted, and I was able to slip off into a fitful sleep the few remaining hours until sunrise. My body felt much better this morning.

So, friend, whoever you are, I thank you sincerely for your prayers for me yesterday afternoon. They were powerful, effective, and felt on the other side of the world.

I think some of it came to me. Yesterday I threw up twice and the whole night I couldn’t sleep well because my stomach hurt so much and now today I went to the restroom about 3-4 times and its only 5pm.aaaaaaaaaa

  2. That’s so awesome! I know prayer works… heard too many stories and had too many personal experiences of God’s power to believe and different. : )
