Since I’ve been back in the States, I’ve had several opportunities (three so far) to go to some local community prayer times in the little town where my parents live. Each of those times has been wonderful because God keeps showing up and speaking and stirring more hunger within us as a group.

This morning at the prayer meeting, the LORD reminded me of the passage in Ephesians that speaks of being filled with all the fullness of God!

Wait- did you get that- let me try that again…

Being filled with
ALL the fullness of GOD!

Really? That’s possible???

In July, at the mission school I attended, Rolland Baker said it this way,

“You can have as much
of God as you want.”

I don’t know about you readers, but I am hungry for all of Him! I don’t even know what that means, but I know that I know that I know that He is pure and perfect love. There is no darkness in Him. I know I am so secure in His love. I am small. He is infinite. And, in His vast sea of eternal love, I am safe.

So, although God is still a mystery-
although His ways and thoughts are still high above mine-
although I cannot fit God into a box of understanding or a sequence of cause/effect-
although He is still unknown in so many ways-
I trust Him enough to ask for Him in all of His fullness, precisely because He loves me.

My friend, Katherine, describes how we are “filled with all the fullness of God” (YES!!!) more eloquently in this video… watch it!

Let’s get hungry. How much of Him do you want?
