I got so much joy from watching these kids play contentedly with one another. Each day, the kids learned about a different aspect of our great God through song, stories, crafts, games, discussion, and drama.
Meet Dong! He recently finished high school and moved to Phnom Penh to look for a job. Because of his wonderful English (the best I’ve heard yet from a Cambodian…), Joyce Meyer Ministries snatched him up as an interpreter for their upcoming crusade in August. Hillsong UK is here in Cambodia for several days holding worship concerts, so Dong is working the concerts as well. He has a joyful spirit and spreads smiles wherever he goes.
This is me… and Rachel. Rachel emceed all week, and I helped her with the singing and dancing. Rachel is from Buffalo, New York. She’s a student at Bethany College of Missions in Minnesota and is spending 16 months in Cambodia for her practical immersion. She’s only been here for 6 months, but already speaks conversational Khmer and buzzes around the city on her motorcycle named “Dragon.”
