This evening, Kim and I went to church with the Gallants, a missionary couple here in Phnom Penh. We had dinner together afterwards and then they brought us to the lobby of a hotel to use the wireless internet. Velly nice.

Tomorrow is King Sihamony’s birthday, so the entire city is closing down to celebrate! 🙂 Cambodia still has a monarch. Granted, he has very little political power, but still, he has a beautiful palace… with lots of gold… and shiny things… If I get to take some pictures of it at some point, I’ll post them.

But, I won’t be in town for his birthday party. Sigh. 😉 I’m headed to Toul Sre in Kampong Cham province and I will be there for two or three days, depending on the rain. Allyn and I will be doing some ground work and checking out the progress of the development projects there.

In the meantime, I hope you are all doing well. More stories and posts to come… Much love from Cambodia!!!
