Well, this is really happening!

My journey begins on Thursday afternoon, US central time, and ends on Saturday morning, local time in Cambodia. Yay for planes, layovers, more planes, plane food (!), more layovers, new faces (everywhere!), more planes, flight attendants, and, of course- my personal favorite- TURBULENCE. 😉 I liken it to a gentle rocking chair lulling me into a peaceful-plane-sleep

I don’t know how I will react to Cambodia upon my arrival. I really don’t know what to expect… I mean, I have some vague ideas and pictures in my mind, but nothing very concrete. I just know that Cambodia is a new world to discover full of culture, beauty, tragic history, and great needs.

I am excited.

I will update once more before I leave… Thank you all so much for your prayers. I treasure you!
