Well, I am back at school tonight! The weekend of training at World Hope headquarters went wonderfully. The training sessions focused on discussing the causes of poverty, how to build sustainable development, World Hope’s philosophy and programs, the basics of personal safety, in country logistics, conflict resolution (powerpoint presentation), crossing cultures, and uncovering our motivation for service. We were also given a pile of books to read before beginning our work in our respective countries.

Our trainers included Dr. Thomas Kettelkamp, Debbie Hoover, Margo Kettelkamp, David Erickson, Kristin Weibe, and Dr. Jo Anne Lyon.

While I was there, I found out that I still need $1,000 more to pay for my internship. I praise God for the way He’s provided for all my needs in the past, and I fully believe He is able to do so again.

If you are interested in donating toward my internship, you can make a secure credit card donation toward my internship online through this site. Please use my account number (HCR V1089 CT017462) to make sure your gift will be credited to my internship costs. Giving online would be the easiest and fastest way for you to help at this point.

If you would rather mail a check to World Hope, you can send your check, made out to World Hope International to the following address:

Wow. I am in awe of the work the LORD is doing in me, in the other volunteers, and in the world.

May HIS name be glorified! 🙂

Much love to all of you through Jesus,
